Membership Information

Have you considered joining AALNC? Are you already a member and want to become more involved? There is considerable value in being part of a professional organization dedicated to the development of your career.

Benefits of SNE-AALNC Chapter Membership

  • Networking is key to LNC practice – whether you’re an independent LNC, interested in working as an expert witness, in-house at a Plaintiff or Defense firm, or in other practice areas. As a chapter member you will have access to LNCs with widely diverse clinical experience as well as extensive LNC experience. The SNE AALNC Board alone comprises over 50 years of LNC experience combined!

  • Educational Programs at each chapter meeting which cover nursing, medical, legal, marketing, small business and entrepreneurial subjects – something for everyone!

  • The Southern New England Chapter of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Massachusetts Association of Registered Nurses, Inc., and accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The educational component for most chapter meetings will provide between 2 and 3 CEUs. Specifics for each program will be provided.

  • Access to the SNE-AALNC Chapter Lending Library [Word] [PDF] which offers a diverse range of books, tapes and standards of care to borrow for a nominal fee. (Use the website form to notify the Chapter if you wish to borrow specific items.)

  • A Chapter Membership Directory listing you and your SNE-AALNC colleagues to provide opportunities for expert referrals, LNC contracting opportunities, and job postings.

  • A Members-Only Private Email Group where you can ask questions of other SNE-AALNC members, read their responses, request pertinent articles and standards of care, and network.

  • Provide Leadership Opportunities for your personal and professional growth.
