The contents of the lending library are
posted on the web site. I will be adding
to the library soon and if any other
members have items that they would like
to add please let me know and we can
arrange to make them available. I would
like to have the library contents
available at each meeting for members to
utilize. The exception to this will be
the contents owned by Jane Mihalich.
These items are individually marked and
can be borrowed by contacting Marion R.

Educational Seminar: As you know,
we were unable to put a full day program
together in April due to lack of time. I
am pleased to announce that we have set
a date for October 22, 2010, to do a
full day conference on "Nurse Protect
Thyself" Many of our members are fairly
new and the Board agreed that this was a
topic that will appeal to all facets of
nursing.
We will need much member
participation and encourage all members
to choose a committee to work on in
order for our conference to be a success

Facebook: We will soon have a
Southern New England Chapter of AALNC
group. We hope that the visibility from
a group such as this will not only
increase membership but enable us, as a
group, to educate and converse about
legal nurse consulting. Stay tuned!

Northeast Cruise Conference:
While at the national conference
in Pittsburgh I ran into Julie Dickerson
& Tammy Dickinson. Their Connecticut
Chapter is off & running and doing
well...Congratulations to them! Some of
the chapter presidents from the
Northeast(Conn,Delaware,New York, New
Jersey and Maryland), with Julie taking
the lead, have come up with the idea of
putting together an educational cruise
for the fall of 2011. I think it could
be very exciting and quite a bit of fun
and I'm definitely in! Julie is asking
for volunteers from each Chapter to help
organize and help the cruise become a
reality. Please email Julie Dickerson @
Jdickinson204@yahoo.com to become
involved

NATIONAL
While attendance was down from
previous years conference, it was one of
the best that I have attended! Seminar
selection was good/speakers were great
and, surprise to me, Pittsburgh was a
terrific place to see and do fun things.
And, as always, catching up with old
friends and making new ones was the
highlight.
